Plot
The story begins in a kingdom ruled by Hiranyakashyap, a powerful demon king who believes he is the supreme god. He bans the worship of Vishnu and punishes those who disobey. His son Prahlad, however, remains devoted to Vishnu. Despite threats and torture, Prahlad’s faith never breaks.
Hiranyakashyap grows furious and challenges Vishnu to appear. In a dramatic moment, Vishnu manifests as Narsimha, a half-man, half-lion avatar. He emerges from a pillar and defeats Hiranyakashyap in a way that follows divine conditions—neither day nor night, neither inside nor outside, and using neither weapon nor human form.
The film ends with Narsimha calming down after Prahlad’s prayers. Dharma is restored, and the kingdom returns to peace. The story highlights the power of faith, the importance of righteousness, and the divine promise to protect devotees.
Cast
Prahlad, the young devotee of Vishnu, is voiced by a child actor whose innocence and strength shine through. His character is central to the emotional core of the film. Hiranyakashyap, the arrogant demon king, is voiced by a seasoned actor who brings intensity and rage to the role. His transformation from ruler to tyrant is portrayed with dramatic flair.
Lord Vishnu, in his divine form, appears in visions and prayers. His calm and wise voice contrasts with the fierce roar of Narsimha, who is voiced by a powerful performer with deep vocal range. The transformation scene is one of the film’s highlights.
Supporting characters include Kayadhu, Prahlad’s mother, who struggles between love and fear. Narada Muni, the celestial sage, guides Prahlad and offers wisdom. Royal guards, teachers, and villagers add realism to the kingdom’s atmosphere. Each character plays a role in building the tension and spiritual message.
